Breathing new life into a neglected Victorian semi-detached house
After being left vacant for two decades, this large Victorian semi-detached house was on the brink of complete abandonment. The property had been served with an enforcement notice to have the house returned back to residential usage. Years of neglect had taken its toll, and the house had suffered from extensive vandalism. It had no floors or stairs internally, and the once grand architecture was now in disrepair.
Revitalising the Property
With the aim of bringing this semi-detached house back to its former glory, we have invested a total of £350k to restore it to a luxury HMO. The project also included extension works and landscaping to enhance the overall aesthetics of the property.
The restoration process was certainly not without its challenges. However, we were committed to breathing new life into the property. By being sympathetic to the original architecture and style of the building and investing in top-notch materials, our skilled, professional team have been able to transform this once-abandoned house into a stunning home.
The Result
The newly renovated property boasts ten bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, providing tenants with the ultimate in comfort and privacy. The property now also comes complete with high-end fixtures and fittings throughout. The extension works have added even more space, and the landscaped gardens provide a beautiful outdoor space for tenants to enjoy.
Conclusion
